Terms and conditions
The hire of items is for a period of one day
Clients are required to inspect the items hired and return them in the same condition. The clients is required to pay for all breakages, damages or losses while items are in their possession.
For big functions like Kitchen parties and weddings, a mock set up will be done one or two weeks before the function.
No changes in agreed décor (numbers, décor schemes and colours) for weddings and kitchen parties shall be accepted one week before the function. We encourage our clients to make all the changes by the time the mock set up is being done.

Transport policy
Our prices for décor services and tent set up are inclusive of transport within a 20km radius of Chilenje South. The following places and beyond attract extra charges for transport; a. MFEZ turnoff in the east of Lusaka;
Airport round about to the east of Lusaka
Garden house and beyond to the west of Lusaka
Linda turn off / round about to the South of Lusaka
Kabangwe to the north of Lusaka.

When hiring our items, clients are expected to collect the items. If you need them delivered, we charge based on distance covered from our base in Chilenje South.

Payment and Refund policy
A 20% down payment is required for one to secure the date for our services.
All payments for décor are required to be made in full at least one week before the function.

Refunds maybe given for cancellations, but the following penalties will apply in the event that the cancellation is not as a result of Chilenje Events & Hire failing to provide the service;
30% fee on the monies paid if the function is cancelled at least 30 days before the date.
50% penalty fee on monies paid if the function is cancelled at least 2 weeks before the date of the function.
No refund is cancellation is done less than 7 days before the function.
Clients are expected to familiarize themselves with these terms and accept in writing before any payment can be made.
